Results from our HVAC work, and what they teach about brand

Our published results come from heating and cooling companies. We show them as HVAC results, and explain which lessons about identity, consistency and recognition carry over to other trades.

Every figure on this page comes from our HVAC and heating work. Trades.Studio serves every trade, but the group's published case studies are heating and cooling companies, so we present them as results from our HVAC work and never as plumbing, roofing or electrical results. Below is what each one shows, with a particular eye on brand: naming, consistency and being recognised.

GasBoilers.ca: building a brand inside a brand

GasBoilers.ca is the clearest example of studio thinking in our HVAC portfolio. Rather than burying gas-boiler work inside a general heating company, a separate division was built for CANRO Heat, with its own name and focus. Today that division serves 26+ BC communities, and its Google profile shows 5.0★ from 76+ Google reviews.

The lesson for other trades: if one service is high-value and distinct, such as drain cleaning inside a plumbing company or EV charger installs inside an electrical firm, a named division with its own look can be easier for customers to understand and remember. It isn't always right. A sub-brand doubles the work of keeping vehicles, shirts and profiles consistent. Our naming and logo guide explains how to decide.

Roma Heating & Cooling and CanroHeat.ca: consistency compounds

Roma Heating & Cooling grew organic traffic 400% in 12 months. CanroHeat.ca recorded 250% lead growth. Both are whole-marketing results, and we don't credit either one to a logo or any single design piece.

What they show for brand: growth like this depends on customers being able to find the same name, the same number and the same promise everywhere. When the truck, the profile and the website disagree, people search for the wrong thing, call an old number or simply don't recognise you. The brand identity service exists to stop that leak.

BCWide.ca: speed when the message is clear

BCWide.ca achieved 3× leads in 90 days. We don't attribute that figure to design alone, but it is a useful reminder that some changes show up within one quarter rather than a year.

The brand lesson is about clarity. A van or yard sign that says plainly what you do and how to call works faster than one that relies on a clever name. We apply the same idea in our vehicle wrap layouts.

What transfers to your trade, and what doesn't

Transfers well:

  • One consistent identity across every touchpoint.
  • Naming decisions made on purpose, including when a division deserves its own brand.
  • Tracking numbers and "how did you hear about us" questions, so visible marketing can be counted.
  • Real photos and video of real jobs instead of stock imagery.

Doesn't transfer automatically:

  • The size of the numbers. HVAC has emergency spikes and large replacement jobs; a painter or landscaper will see different patterns.
  • Seasonality. Heating demand peaks in cold months; exterior trades peak in spring and summer.
  • Review volume. It depends on how many jobs you do and how consistently you ask.

How we'll measure your results

Before any creative work goes live, we agree a short list of measures: calls on fleet and print tracking numbers, branded searches for your business name, Google Business Profile views and calls, and the share of new customers who mention seeing your trucks, signs or crew. We check them against a baseline rather than guessing. If you'd like to see how that would look for your business, call, text or email, or read about pricing first.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have case studies for wraps or uniforms specifically?

Not published ones. Our public case studies are HVAC marketing results, and we don't attribute them to any single creative piece. We'd rather show you real results with honest context than invent a wrap statistic.

Will a new brand get me similar numbers?

We can't promise that, and nobody honestly can. Results depend on your market, prices, competitors, phone handling and how consistently the brand is used. What we can do is set up tracking so you see what changes.

Why is GasBoilers.ca relevant to a studio?

Because it is a brand built from scratch: a gas-boiler division created for CANRO Heat with its own name and identity. That is exactly the kind of decision a studio helps with.
