Trades.Studio is the creative arm of the Trades.Agency family: a studio that designs logos, vehicle wraps, uniforms, print and video for trades businesses across Canada. We work for plumbers, electricians, roofers, renovators, landscapers, painters and the other trades that live in trucks and on doorsteps. We are not a contractor. We market and advise; we never install, repair or service anything, and we don't apply the vinyl on your van either.
Why the visible stuff matters more in the trades
A homeowner decides whether to trust you before you say a word. They see the truck in the driveway next door, the shirt at their front door, and the logo on Google Maps beside three competitors. If those pieces look improvised, the price you quote has to work harder.
Most trades brands grow by accident. A friend draws the logo, the first van gets lettered by whoever was cheapest, shirts are ordered in a different green each year, and the website uses a fourth version of the name. None of it is terrible on its own. Together, it makes a solid company look smaller than it is.
What we fix first is usually not the logo. It is consistency: one name, one phone number, one colour system, and rules simple enough that your office manager can order shirts without calling us.
What the studio designs
We cover the five places a trades brand actually shows up:
- Logos and brand identity: a mark that survives being shrunk onto a hat and blown up onto a box truck.
- Vehicle wrap and fleet graphics: layouts that pass the three-second test at a red light, with print-ready files for your installer.
- Uniforms and workwear: placement, colour and garment specs for crews who get dirty for a living.
- Print, signs and leave-behinds: yard signs, door hangers, quote folders and the magnet that ends up on the fridge.
- Job-site video and photo direction: shot lists and edits that turn real jobs into proof.
The services overview explains how to choose a starting point.
A worked example: what one van is worth
Here is the arithmetic we walk owners through. Plug in your own numbers.
Say your average job is worth $900 and you close about half of the calls that come from people who saw your truck. If a clear, readable wrap brings in just two extra calls a month that would otherwise have gone elsewhere, that is one extra job, or roughly $10,800 in revenue a year from a single vehicle. Multiply by the trucks in your fleet.
The point is not the exact figure. It is that a van you already pay for is parked in front of customers' neighbours every working day, and most trades waste that space on a logo nobody can read and a phone number in 40-point type. We put a dedicated tracking number on the design where it makes sense, so the calls can be counted rather than guessed.
Results from our HVAC work
Our published case studies come from heating and cooling companies, so we present them as exactly that: results from our HVAC work. The most relevant one for a studio is GasBoilers.ca, a gas-boiler division brand built for CANRO Heat that now serves 26+ BC communities and holds a 5.0★ rating from 76+ Google reviews. CanroHeat.ca saw 250% lead growth, and Roma Heating & Cooling grew organic traffic 400% in 12 months.
None of that proves a wrap will do the same for a roofer. What it shows is the method: a clear identity, applied consistently, connected to a website and tracking that tells you what is working. See our results for what transfers and what doesn't.
Coverage, ownership and how we're set up
We work with trades in all 10 provinces and 3 territories. Regional detail matters more than people expect: Quebec has French-language rules for commercial advertising, Nunavut requires Inuktut on public signs and advertising, and every province has its own registry for business names. Each region page covers what affects your brand there.
You own everything we make: the source files, the fonts licence information, the colour codes and the brand rules. Trades.Studio is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, a Canadian group headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and led by Ali Sedighi, MBA. Plans follow Trades.Agency pricing, month to month, and the first consultation is free.

How it works
Show us what customers see today
Send photos of your trucks, shirts, signs, invoices and website. We look at them the way a homeowner does, from the curb and on a phone.
Get a design plan in priority order
We tell you which pieces to fix first, what each will cost inside your plan, and what to leave alone. Nothing is redesigned just because it is old.

Frequently asked questions
What is Trades.Studio?
Trades.Studio is a Canadian creative and marketing service for trades and home-service businesses. It designs logos, vehicle graphics, workwear branding, print and video, and it is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group, headquartered in Vancouver, BC, and led by Ali Sedighi, MBA.
Do you install wraps or do trade work?
No to both. We aren't a contractor, so no trade work of any kind is done by us. We also don't apply vinyl ourselves: we design the wrap, prepare the print files and help you brief and check the shop that installs it.
Can you trademark my logo for me?
No. Trademark questions belong with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office and a lawyer or registered trademark agent. We can keep a dated record of how the design was developed and hand you clean files to bring to that conversation, but we don't give legal advice.
Do I need a whole rebrand?
Usually not. Many trades owners need a cleaner version of the logo they already have, a readable truck layout and consistent shirts. We only recommend a full rebrand when the name or mark is actively costing you work.
Where do you work?
Across Canada. Design files travel well, so we work with owners from Victoria to St. John's and in the territories, and we brief local print shops, wrap installers and apparel decorators wherever you are.
How is this different from a print shop's free design?
A print shop designs the item in front of it. We design the system: one set of rules for the logo, colours, phone number and photos, so the van, the hoodie, the sign and the website all reinforce each other.
